The identity ofAvengers: Endgame's now-infamousFortnitetroll is revealed in a new The Falcon and the Winter Soldier  promotional video. Taika Waititi famously reinvigorated the Thor franchise withThor: Ragnarok. In addition to helping star Chris Hemsworth embrace a more comedic version of the God of Thunder, the director also voiced Korg—the soft-spoken Kronan who, along with his insectoid friend Miek, join the Asgardians in their journey towards Earth.

FollowingAvengers: Infinity War's defeat, the next time we see Korg and Miek is inAvengers: Endgame. When Professor Hulk and Rocket the Raccoon visit Norway to recruit their fellow Avenger in undoing the snap, they find an over-weight Thor drinking beer while Miek eats pizza and Korg plays a seemingly peaceful game ofFortnite. "Thor, he's back! That kid on the TV just called me a [expletive] again," says Korg, to which Thor replies, "NoobMaster..." Thor then proceeds to yell at and threaten the gamer known as "NoobMaster69" through Korg's headset. The gag is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's finest and has now been referenced in an advertisement for Disney+'sThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The latest marketing forThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier are cross-promos with Xbox. In the newest clip, Sam Wilson/Falcon is again seen talking with the same Apple employee—named Aaron and played by D.C. Pierson—that Captain America and Black Widow encountered in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The pair discuss "superhero stuff" both in Sam's life and on Xbox. The clip ends with a shocked Sam reacting to Aaron's gamertag: NoobMaster69. Watch the video below.

The last thing Thor says to NoobMaster69 inAvengers: Endgame was "that's right, go cry to your father, you little weasel!" Presumably, Korg's troll lived with his parents. This is not to say that Aaron isn't NoobMaster69, but he's certainly a lot older than expected (making it all the more hilarious). He does say that his cousin is the one who made his gamertag so the latter could be the culprit. However, based upon Xbox's last promo video, Aaron wasn't blipped by Thanos' snap—so he may have indeed bullied Korg.

The return of Pierson's Aaron is not unlike Evan Peters' fake Pietro inWandaVision. Even if this particular nod doesn't have larger implications for the MCU, it's still a whole lot of fun. That said, it's easier to imagine Pierson making future appearances as NoobMaster69 than Peters returning as Quicksilver from the Multiverse. Just two weeks after that theory was put to rest, Phase 4 will continue with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier . Aside from Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, the series will also see the return of Sharon Carter, Baron Zemo, and even James Rhodes. Bringing back the former Apple employee turned nefariousFortniteplayer might be good for a laugh. Although, fans would no doubt rather see his feud with Korg, Miek, and Thor continue in Thor: Love and Thunder.
